Front Pages of The World

1.) My favorite newspaper front page was the Lubbock Avalanche Journal. It looks really modern but informative. Plus it's colorful & it catches your attention.
2.) My favorite headline is the obvious  one which is "Shattered". It uses Human Interest b/c it makes you wonder what they're talking about which causes you too read it.
3.)There are three stories on the cover w/ lots of subtitles telling you what you can find inside.
4.)All the newspapers have a big picture covering the top story & about two or three other minor stories around it it.
5.)Some look boring some look interesting. They have different kinds of styles making the audience have different perspectives on whether they want too read it or not. I guess it just depends on the person.

Lenses & Photography Vocabulary

I would use the telephoto lens to ... get a more close up photo of something thats far away.

I would use prime lens to ... take a photo that  I wouldn't need too zoom in on & in low light atmospheres.

I would use a wide angle lens to ... get the whole subject & mostly everything surrounding it.

Depth of field- the distance between the nearest & farthest objects in a scene that  appear sharp in an image.
Depth of field would help you take better pictures by giving you a variant type of photo. Something Interesting.

Light (Image & Intensity)- the illumination of the scenes being photographed.
Light can help you take better photos by giving off a certain amount of light determining whether too use flash or not.

Shadows- the brightest or darkest parts of an image.
Shadows can help you take better photos by putting certain detail in your photo.

Diffusion- an optical filter used for special affect.
Diffusion can help you take better photos by putting more into a photo w/o doing very much work.

Exposure- the amount of light allowed to fall on each area.
Exposure would help you take better photos by giving light or keeping light from certain areas.

Aperture-how big the lens opening is. The smaller the number the bigger the opening.

Shutter Speed- the amount of time the cameras lens is exposed.

ISO- a sensor insidethe camera. As you increase ISO you increase grain.
